Each PL-2 spends either a four-week or six-week block on the Hematology/Oncology service.  During this time they manage with the hematology/oncology attending staff all of their inpatients.   Approximately half of each day is spent in the outpatient setting seeing hematology/oncology patients on an ambulatory basis seeing patients for routine management and consultations.

Hints & Expectations:
Get sign out from on-call resident at 7:30am. 

Record all labs and vitals in preparation for attending's arrival.

Should spend some time at the office, but must arrange sign out to on-call resident.

On-call resident should touch base with in-house attending by 5pm.

Call attending about EVERYTHING.
