Dermatology Rotation

The resident will spend a 2 week block rotation working on-on-one with the attending.  This will include time in the office seeing first time consultations and follow-up visits, as well as rounding on ward patients when the need arises.

Directions:  From Fairfax Hospital, turn left onto Gallows Road, turn left onto Route 50 (West)-Arlington Blvd., at stoplight, turn right onto Williams Drive, turn right into third driveway - second parking lot- second building (Yorktown 50 building on right)

Directions: From the hospital, take beltway (I 495) north to Leesburg Pike (Route 7) going West.
Go past Tyson's Corner Mall and turn right on Westpark Dr.  Then proceed up the hill to the first left turn at light which is Greensboro Dr.  Office is in row of townhouses.

Hints & Expectations:
(when working with Dr. Silverman.) You will not have weekday call during this rotation, nor are you expected to come to noon conference.  However, you are still expected at Grand Rounds and Problem Conference on Thursday mornings.  Also, you will need to change your continuity clinic day to Friday as Dr. Silverman does not have patients that afternoon.  This is YOUR responsibility

Rotation includes a few days at Georgetown with Dr. Silverman -- be prepared to pay for parking.
